Combined Heat and Power
Cogeneration
today is widely used throughout the world for efficient production of heat and
power. Cogeneration is the simultaneous production of heat and power in a
single thermodynamic process. The purpose of this course is to review the
different approaches for applying technologies to the function of cogeneration. We’ll also explore the various issues and
considerations for deployment of the two main types of
cogeneration concepts: "Topping Cycle" plants (including “Combined
Cycle” plants), and "Bottoming Cycle" plants.
